
At ConfinedSpace.com we warehouse the majority of items listed on our site. Once you place your order, we package and ship via UPS or US Priority Mail, though we prefer UPS for their more robust tracking ability. The map below shows approximate delivery times for UPS Ground Service.
We make every effort to ship your items the same day your order is received Monday through Friday before 4pm PST. Weekend orders will ship on Monday or according to the availability listed on each product page.
Please allow approximately 1-7 business days to receive your order from your specified shipping carrier. The length of time will depend on how far your location is from us. Products which we do not currently stock in our warehouse will have a clearly stated lead time, or availability from the manufacturer. To increase the speed of delivery, we may drop ship, or ship directly from the manufacturer to you.
Please note that if an item is not in stock or has a lead time associated with it, the delivery time noted during checkout is from the date of shipment. Choosing "Next Day Air" for instance, does not necessarily mean that the product will arrive the next day. If the product has a posted 2-3 day availability, it will leave the factory or our location within 2-3 days, and will arrive as soon as possible depending on how far you are from the shipping point.

We gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses using US Priority Mail.
We extend 30-day terms automatically and do not require a minimum order amount for federal, state, county, city, military, college or hospital purchases. We happily accept GSA credit cards and do not require you to fill out a credit form. Simply fax us your purchase order or give us a call and we will get your order rolling. We do ship directly to locations in Canada. The buyer is responsible for any additional taxes, duties and brokerage fees on their items. These additional charges are not paid to PK Safety and will be collected by your delivery service when the items arrive. Please note that we are unable to ship a few items such as RAE Systems gas detectors to Canada due to manufacturer and export restrictions.
We have partnered with International Checkout for orders outside the US and Canada. During checkout simply click on the International Checkout button (shown below) and you will be able to order in your local currency and have items shipped directly to you. Please note we are unable to ship certain items due to manufacturer and export restrictions.
Occasionally UPS or the Post Office does not deliver packages in their stated service time window. Most often this is due to weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or because they experienced technical difficulties. Unfortunately this is out of our control and we cannot reimburse you due to delays caused by our carriers.
The return of items in original as-shipped condition will, in general (see below), be accepted for credit. Please contact Customer Service to obtain a RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. This will ensure that we are both aware that a return is coming, and that credit needs to be issued. Depending on the product, and the manufacturer's policies, there may be a re-stocking charge applied. These are in the range of 15-30%. Please note that we only charge a re-stocking fee when we are charged one ourselves. Please package returns appropriately, keeping record of tracking numbers. Insure the package if warranted, as we can only issue credit for returns we actually receive.
The following items are not refundable, or have certain restrictions on return.
Credit will be issued only to the credit card originally used to purchase the item. The customer will be responsible for cost of shipping the product back to us. Products cannot be returned after 30 days of purchase.
Please contact Customer Service as soon as is practical. We are available Monday thru Friday, 8 - 5 PST. If the problem is damage in transit, please retain the packaging, as UPS may want to examine it. Arrangements for return or refund will be made based on the circumstances.
