Capital Safety 1231460 Rescue Y Lanyard

The Rescue Y-Lanyard is designed for the rescue and retrieval of personnel and equipment from confined spaces.

Should anyone need vertical extraction form a work site this is made easy with the Y-Lanyard, which is designed to attach to a rescue harness (with two D-rings at the shoulders) while keeping the casualty safe and vertically positioned.

Strong and durable; the Rescue Y-Lanyard is made from 1-3/4 inch thick polyester webbing, with a strong D-ring for attaching to a winch at the head of the lanyard, while a spread bar keeps the Y shape wide and makes it easy to attach (especially with the snap hooks) to a rescue harness.

When used for extraction the lanyard serves to keep the wearer upright for ease of vertical extraction, reducing the space required for extraction.

The Rescue Y Lanyard from DBI/Sala meets all relevant OSHA and ANSI standards, making it a great piece of kit for anyone regularly performing confined space work (gas, oilrig and refinery engineers; sewer workers, miners etc).
