Capital Safety Multi-Purpose Tank Support Structure 8003844

This Multi-Purpose Tank Support Structure is made from aluminum to be both lightweight and incredibly portable. Easy to dismantle and assemble, and fixing directly onto the tank itself, you can quickly set up the support wherever it is needed.

Designed specifically for tank access the anchor mounts directly onto the tank hatch frame (using bolts of 5/8" or 3/4"), allowing for quick and secure installation (even by a single worker). And as all tanks are not made equal the support frame can be adjusted in both width and height.

The mounting base also allows you to quickly install a DBI/SALA winch, self retracting lifeline (SRL) or lanyard and the support structure features snatch block and leg pulley mount for routing of the lifeline/winch; the Support Structure itself is rated up to 350lbs or 5,000lbs of vertical pull in a fall arrest situation; meeting or exceeding ANSI and OSHA requirements for anchorage.

Weighing only 48 lbs this tank support frame is great for all types of confined space entry, particularly suited to gas, oilrig and refinery work, as well as being useful for manhole entry, the merchant navy and the military. Includes a mounting bracket base, leg mount pulley and snatch block pulley to properly rout the lifeline over the hole.
