This model of Ultra-Lok is a little different: it uses synthetic rope for the lifeline material. Steel cable has similar strength characteristics, but the Spectra line used here is non-conductive. This can be of great benefit in situations where electrical components or dangerous LELs may be present.
Ultra-Lok SRLs are constructed using stainless steel working components and a swiveling anchorage loop on top to prevent twisting. A reserve lifeline retention system maintains 2 ft. of line on the drum for shock absorption and added safety. The lifeline is 55 ft. of super strong Spectra synthetic rope and provides excellent durability.
Aluminum side plates are used for maximum durability and minimum weight. The Ultra Lok also contains an anti-ratcheting twin brake system with audio indicator to let you know it is functioning properly.
The Ultra Lok 3504488 meets or exceeds all applicable industry fall safety standards including OSHA and ANSI Z359-2007.
