The Side Entry System from UCL (a Capital Safety brand) is a pivoting davit arm hoist system for horizontal access to confined spaces (tanks, silos etc). For man riding, work positioning, equipment delivery or personnel rescue and retrieval work, the Side Entry System is excellent for industrial tank cleaning or purging and engineering work. The maneuverable arm reaches a variety of difficult access hatch entrances and features a sturdy winch attachment, allowing your workers to get in and the job done safely and quickly.

Simply attach the Side Entry System to an appropriate mount (the External Adjustable Tank Collar or a fixed mount point, for example) and you can angle the arm inside the structure to give you a vertical line for work positioning and confined space access.

Constructed from strong yet light aluminum and stainless steel parts, the whole system is zinc-powder coated to offer incredibly corrosion resistance and a smooth operating life.

Capable of taking a 450 lb load with a suitable winch, hoist or Self Retracting Lifeline attachment (such as the Salalift II or Digital Winch), the Side Access System is suitable for getting your team and your equipment to an internal worksite and back again safely (the system is OSHA rated when used with an appropriate mounting position).
