The Confined Space Entry Kit is a one-purchase solution for your job site. We have included everything you need to help ensure worker safety: from a high-quality harness to a 4-gas monitor for confined space and more. We carry many different products that can fit into the confined space category but have taken our most popular and reliable confined space items to assemble the Confined Space Entry System. This System includes your confined space 4-gas monitor, durable tripod and winch combo, plus heavy-duty ventilation and an ExoFit D-ring harness.

BW Honeywell Gas Alert Max XT II

The Gas Alert Max XT is a 4-gas monitor that simultaneously monitors Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxygen (O2) and Combustibles (%LEL).. With its one button design it makes it a very user friendly and easy to use. It features an internal pump designed for performance along with an easy to read multi-language LCD display that shows all 4 gas concentrations at once. One feature that separates it from the rest is the audible and visual alarms. There are 3 light bars on the monitor. Two that go down the left and right side along with 1 that goes along the top. These will flash red when the unit is in alarm. Please note that the lights do flash when turning the monitor on and off.

The BW Gas Alert Max XT also has an optional Confined Space Kit (CSK1) which adds:

A BW Calibration 4-gas canister is also available as an option. The mixture includes: CH4 (2.5%), O2 (18.0%), H2S (25 ppm), CO (100 ppm).

Capital Safety 8300030 Winch/Tripod

The 8300030 tripod and winch combination is a complete system with the 7 foot tripod and 60 foot Salalift II man-rated winch. This winch comes with a storage bag to make it easier for handling and transporting.

The 7 ft. tripod is constructed of aluminum and the winch is constructed of anodized aluminum side plates, zinc plated gears and shafts, stainless steel springs and aluminum drum for corrosion resistance. The winch comes with 60 ft. of galvanized 1/4 in. steel cable.

Euramco UB20 Portable Blower and 25 FT Ducting in Canister

We chose the UB20 to be included in this confined space kit because it has proven itself to be our most popular and reliable blower. Its walls are molded from a UV-resistant polyethylene which makes it corrosion proof and nearly indestructible. The UB20 features a nine blade fan along with a 1/3 horsepower motor which runs extremely quiet.

Capital Safety Exofit Back D-Ring Harness

The ExoFit harness from Capital Safety was designed with the workers in mind. It is made out of a high performance material that has a breathable Dri-Lex lining that draws the moisture away from the workers body. This keeps the worker dry and comfortable while working instead of having to endure any painful chafing.

With the ExoFit design there is no tangling and easy donning. Capital Safety has made the back in an X shape to keep it from tangling. All you have to do is pick it up from the back d-ring and put it on and clip it in with its easy and convenient quick-connect buckles. Optional: Petzl VERTEX VENT Helmet

A low profile hard hat or helmet with a chin strap is crucial for confined space entry. We have found the Petzl helmets to be not only tough as nails, but also very comfortable, and adjustable to a wide range of head shapes. Clever adjustment wheels allow you to change the circumference and the depth of the fit.
