BW Honeywell Gas Alert Micro Clip XT 4-Gas Monitor H2S, CO, O2, LEL

The BW GasAlertMicro Clip 2 is a four-gas monitor for industrial confined space sites. The smallest and lightest of the multi-gas detectors offered by BW Technologies by Honeywell, it is smaller and easier to carry than its larger siblings, the Quattro and Gas Alert Max XT II.




Capable of detecting Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxygen levels and samples the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) of a variety of flammable/explosive/combustible fumes, the MicroClip 2 has four diffusion micro-sensors (unlike the Quattro and Gas Alert Max XT II models, which have four full-size sensors) used for passive gas detection. With the addition of the hand pump aspirator found in the Deluxe Confined Space Kit, the Micro Clip can be used to sample remote areas (prior to manhole entry for example).

Should you encounter any dangerous gas levels the GasAlertMicroClip XT gas sniffer will alert you: visual (three bright alert lights), sonic (95dB alarm) and vibration alarms are on hand to make you aware of any hazards.

As is standard with the GasAlert range of sniffers, you can tailor the alert levels via the IR Connectivity Kit: Short Term Exposure Limits (STEL; 5-15minutes), Long Term Exposure Limits (LTEL; ~8hrs) as well as High/Low values for each gas can all be adjusted to meet site specific safety standards.

As with all of the Gas Alert multi-gas monitors from Honeywell the Micro Clip features a simple one-button interface (easy to operate with gloves on, requiring little training) as well as being constructed from sturdy, concussion proof and water-resistant materials.

Internal rechargeable batteries offer hours of life on a single charge and data logged over its use can be retrieved via the IR Connectivity Kit.
