Capital Safety 12-29 Inch Adjustable Offset Upper Mast 8518001

This 12" - 29" Inch Adjustable Offset Upper Mast is an essential part of the 5-Piece Hoist System from Capital Safety; a pivoting davit arm for easy confined space rescue or retrieval work.

The arm sits atop the Lower Mast (also included in the five-piece hoist and winch system) and features a bracket for simple installation of a self retracting lifeline (SRL) or winch, as needed.

Easily adjustable along both its length (from 12" to 29" via detent pins) and angle of the upper arm (via an easily adjusted bolt), you get complete on-site flexibility, which can be a great help to many confined space work sites.

Built from high-strength aluminum the upper mast can handle a load of up to 500lbs while still managing to be relatively light at only 22lbs. It is also collapsible; making the upper mast easy to pack and transport for use across different sites.

As part of the 5-Piece Hoist System, the Upper Mast is OSHA and ANSI certified; the whole system is rated for safety and strength making it perfect for confined space rescue and retrieval. Oil rig, gas and refinery engineers, sewer workers or enclosed space rescue workers will all find it incredibly versatile and useful.
